Bio
Alexander Cook, originally from Prince Edward Island, Canada, is a professional drummer and teacher currently residing in Montreal. He began his musical journey in his high school’s local band program, studying under respected drummers from the area. Alexander later pursued his passion at Dalhousie University in Halifax, where he earned a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance and a Master of Arts in Musicology.
As a versatile drummer, Alexander plays a wide range of styles, including jazz, rock, hip hop, and funk. He thrives in original music projects, collaborating with other talented musicians. Coming from a family of educators, Alexander is passionate about teaching and sharing his love for music with others.
